The international Yoga Day celebrated Annually provides an excellence opportunity for students to engage in various activities promoting physical and mental well-being. This year too was marked by demonstration of various Asanas by our students from Grade I-VIII fostering a sense of community and high-lighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The event began with a prayer song followed by a welcome address rendered by Master Srivatsun of Grade VII. Students of grade I-II demonstrated the 12 poses of Surya Namaskar. The students of Grade III-V showcased sitting Asanas and grades VI-VIII exhibited standing Asanas.
Students performed various Asanas to the Rhythm to a melodious number. The Correspondent and the Principal addressed the students on the significance of Yoga.
International Yoga Celebrations instill in a student lifelong habits of mind fullness and selfcare contributing to the holistic development of students.
