🤝 On Poverty Day, our students extended a helping hand to make a meaningful difference! 🌍Our students of MPS gathered together from KG to Grade XII to commemorate Poverty Eradication Day. In the spirit of compassion and unity, our students extended a helping hand to make a meaningful difference to less fortunate students and senior citizens.
In lieu of this, they were taken to the Tirunelveli Social Service Society (TSSS) Saranalayam, an organization dedicated to eradicating poverty, and also took a moment to visit an old age home at Maharaja Nagar.
Our students contributed the following essentials, including:
Lactogen no 1, Horlicks, Boost, Notebooks, Soaps, Oil, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Powder, Bedsheets
These simple yet vital items made a world of difference to them. It was heartwarming to see the impact we were able to create by coming together as a community.
Students realized the blessings they were unaware of to date in their lives. Seeing the orphaned children and orphaned senior citizens they vowed to take care of their parents whatever might be the situation after listening to the pathetic tales narrated by Grandmas and Grandpas.
They appreciated the tireless efforts of organizations like TSSS, which worked day in and day out to combat poverty and provide support to those who needed it the most. Our contributions have certainly brightened the lives of many, and together, we pledged to be a tool to eradicate poverty.
Their dedication and hard work left us deeply inspired.
