Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a noted scholar, recipient of the Bharat Ratna, the first Vice President and, the second President of independent India. He was born on September 5, 1888. As a teacher, he was an advocate of reform, an outstanding angel, an educationist, and above all, a great teacher.
Teachers play an important role in every student's life to succeed in career and business. They help us to be a good person, a fine member of society, and a better citizen of the country. Teacher’s Day is celebrated to acknowledge the challenges, difficulties, and the special role we face in our lives.
Muthamil Public School observed Teachers Day in a grand manner. A special morning Assembly was conducted by the senior students. Students recited poems and also spoke about how teachers play a powerful role in every student’s life.
Special games were organized, for all the teachers. Teachers took part in games with immense enthusiasm. To encourage and motivate, all the teachers also received special gifts from our respected Correspondent Mam, Ms. Jeyanthy Babu.
It was a joyous day for all the teachers, as all the students wished warmly every teacher a “Happy Teacher’s Day” with a lovely greeting card.
