A greener planet is a better planet. There are uncountable numbers of benefits of trees. As an educational institute, Muthamil Public school took a leap not only to keep its own campus clean but also the surrounding area. We are located in Muneerpallam, and hence with a motive to have a greener planet with the help of our students’ planted trees in the nearby villages. We had 30 student volunteers from our school and the local kids also help us plant trees in the nearby villages. We have also nominated volunteers from Nellai Neervalam, Nellai Nature Club along with our students to regularly water and check on the growth of the trees. We thank Mr. Selvam, Tahsildar, Tirunelveli collectorate for his active participation in the program and motivating our students and special thanks to Mr. Nivek, EGG foundation for providing us free saplings. We also thanks to our Parents Mr. Kapil Natarajan & Mr. Palpandi for coordinating the people of Muneerpallam area.
