World Wetlands Day is celebrated each year on 2 February to raise awareness about wetlands. Wetlands are dynamic aquatic ecosystems found all over the world. In MPS we have a dedicated team comprising of Students and Teachers (Wetland Rovers). One of our major Wetland Porunai Thamirabarani is nearby and our students also join hands to ensure that this perennial river is always flourishing.
